About me
I have been working as a respiratory Speech and Language Therapist (SLT) for over 10 years and am now leading one of the largest complex breathlessness services in the UK – diagnosing and treating ILO. I am currently a PhD fellow therefore have links with the universities within the UK and a specialist interest into outcome measures and measuring the bigger impact of living with ILO from a clinician and patient perspective. I am treasurer of the SLT Upper Airway CEN, on the Council of Allied Health Research Council and am an advisor for the Royal College of Speech and Language Therapists (RCSLT) and therefore have links with other SLTs working with ILO within the UK and will be able to disseminate and champion initiatives within these networks. I am passionate, enthusiastic and a huge advocate of the MDT role in managing ILO.
